Or when we have requested time off weeks prior and the manager still scheduled you on that day. I have worked every weekend since I've started and I asked for 1 Saturday off weeks in advance and he still scheduled me... I hate it here

Dude i was a GM and had this. Moved to a different store and i genuinely forgot a day off and my new GM was like “so take it.” Im like “no dude. I get you. This was my mistake i will find coverage and if not i will be here it’s my fault” and he just said “we’ll be okay take it” ???? What an icon. My store only had 1 FOH (me) and 2 BOH. I cannot fathom being able to not have someone omg

Most of my staff are college students and a lot of the time their professors drop something that’s not on the course schedule and things have to be moved around last minute. It’s a car wash, I understand this is a job for most and not a career.

The thing that makes me upset is if I request a day off and they give me that day off and don’t ever change my schedule back and leave me short a day like why not just change it to another shift another day or once that week that I had the day off is out the schedule back to normal? Why do I have to lose a day and hours just for requesting a day off
