@siadvance: A bicyclist was killed after being struck by an FDNY ambulance in Graniteville late Monday night, according to the NYPD. Police said the ambulance was turning left from Richmond Avenue onto Christopher Lane at about 10:30 p.m. when it struck a bicyclist who was riding against traffic on the northbound side of Richmond Avenue. The cyclist suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at Richmond University Medical Center. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
