We would put wooden pallets down, then bedding on-top of the pallets, create a "false floor" which kept hooves and fur up, off the wet ground and allowed air in under to help dry things quicker.

I'm so glad you have a secure place for all of the animals that you think can take any punishment the weather metes out. Isaias was pretty much a direct hit where I live. our home was safe, our fence is down and some really big trees around were fellled. But I and family and friends came through safely. strangely, the worst damage was to the West, it's usually to the east
