I think it’s time we officially tell the WeePete story because y’all have QUESTIONS. 😂 “Where did you buy it?” “Who makes these?” “How much did it cost?” “Would you sell it?” “Why are you gatekeeping where you got it?” I promise I’m not gatekeeping anything. 😂 The truth is, you can’t just go buy one of these. The WeePete is a one-of-a-kind, custom-built miniature semi that our friend Brandon originally built from the ground up for his own son. It wasn’t ordered out of a catalog, and there’s not a company somewhere turning them out. This is the ONLY WeePete. Others have tried to recreate it, and there are other miniature semis out there, but there isn’t another one exactly like ours. Every little detail is what makes this truck so special. Eventually, we had the opportunity to purchase it for our son. We had it wrapped to match our full-size 2002 Peterbilt 379, the American Outlaw, and now the two make quite the pair. 🇺🇸 And no, we’re not looking to sell it. But here’s the part of the story I really want people to understand. To most people, it’s a really cool little truck. To us, it’s an opportunity to teach our son lessons that will follow him long after he’s outgrown driving it. We’re a trucking family. We own businesses, we work together, we travel together, and we’re raising our son right in the middle of it all. The WeePete gives him something that’s HIS to take pride in. Something to clean, maintain, show off, and eventually learn how to turn into a business of his own. We want him to understand that money doesn’t just appear. That taking care of what God has blessed you with matters. That showing up, shaking hands, treating people right, and working hard will take you a whole lot further than expecting somebody to hand you something. And that you don’t have to wait until you’re grown to start learning how business works. If you’ve followed us for any amount of time, you know our life is a little bit of everything. Trucking, homeschooling, photography, building businesses, and figuring out how to make a living while making a life together. The WeePete fits right into all of it. We’re not just raising a little boy who loves trucks. We’re trying to raise a young man who understands hard work, responsibility, entrepreneurship, and the value of building something worth passing down. And if a little Peterbilt that turns heads everywhere it goes can help us teach those lessons, I’d say it’s worth every bit of the attention it gets. So there’s the story! No gatekeeping, no secret manufacturer, and no, it’s not for sale. 😂 Just one very special little truck, a whole lot of memories being made, and a family trying to build a legacy one mile at a time. ❤️🇺🇸 Follow @trucknwife for more of our trucking family adventures, and tell me — what’s the ONE thing you’ve always wanted to know about the WeePete? 👇 #WeePete #MiniSemi #Peterbilt379 #TrucknWife #TruckingFamily
