Congratulations on three years sober! That is amazing! Start saving $$ hard. Research completely the area you want to move to. Housing costs, costs of living, job opportunities, access to healthcare, all of it. Remember that almost all areas have the good and bad aspects. Be honest with yourselves and prioritize those things that you must have and those things that are just a “would like”. Contact a good immigration lawyer. The process is not simple or cheap. Love watching you both.
