Here is the issue, people forget that he is a fictional character. I agree with you, those actions don’t matter because this didn’t happen in real life. If a person actually did this in real life, everyone should be disgusted, but from my personal experience the reason why people like Dottore is because they can relate to him. His reactions, his way of living, are all things that happen in real life commonly (isolation, rejection) which is why people like him. So his actions aren’t the main point of his character, which is why we feel like he can dismiss. And thats fine as long as it doesn’t translate to reality. I love Dottore )
