@karenjonesfan: Hi. I’m Karen. I write poetry. I live the life it comes from. Some people attribute my voice to performance, provocation, or strategy. A machine. A sales pitch. Pornography. I am none of these things. What I share is the work of a woman in a body—moving, stretching, wanting, loving, grieving, mothering, and processing in real time. I organize words with breakfast, share them over coffee, gather them with wine, and dream them at night—over and over. It isn’t a lifestyle or a grind; it’s intrinsic.
