when I graduated the NYPD back in 2000, they have me a gun with my shield...did they stop doing this?? im sorry..Maybe im being insensitive..but why are we praising this big strapping young Detective as a hero for getting victimized and stabbed 10 times..? hows he protect unarmed civilians when he cant even protect himself? im glad he ok..but hes no hero..Just a victim..lots of people get stabbed in NYC..did they all get a standing ovation when they left the hospital?
