My OCD is mostly violent intrusive thoughts so my therapist got knives of different sizes and coloured the blades red and I had to follow her around her room with each knife in hand. Try to explain that to someone lmaooo

Right I’m just gonna clarify something…if you don’t have OCD, you would NOT NEED TO DO THIS. My OCD was in the extreme range and therefore I had to push the exposures to the extreme in order to get better.

I had sexuality OCD at like 9 and asked my entire family if they’d still love me if I was gay. Every morning I asked my mom if I ‘looked’ or ‘seemed’ gay that day. My family had so much patience.

I had to go around to all the therapists in the office reading a worry script (a script about your ocd fears) and it was my fear of me being attracted to my dog. Saved my life!
