This is China's failure to present itself in a positive, attractive light. Look at what Japanese managed to achieve with their cultural messaging. Most people in the west consider Japan a cherry blossom paradise filled with flirtatious school girls, Pokémon and proud samurai. China needs to understand, it's technically educated power center especially, that culture is more important than the latest in battery technology if you want to be a respected super power.
