i like how this is a video instead of a slideshow, you have to pause to read-- but after the pause you have to wait a little for the slide to change, letting u retain the information better during that waiting period, letting it sink in.

It’s dependent on the individual person’s nervous system yes, but that person’s reactions are prompted by past experiences, traumas, and genetic sensitivities, which is the world/ experience grafting themselves onto the person(‘s nervous stem.) That’s epigenetics at work.. life events attach chemical tags to your DNA. These tags change how your brain reads those genes, effectively shifting your nervous system into high alert. And some of us are more susceptible to anxiety by our genetics even without our own personal traumas/experiences. But it still ultimately comes from our ancestors’ experiences passed down through our genetics. And although these cues can be reversed through behavioral therapy and practice, you shouldn’t want to have a peaceful attitude and passive response toward everything. It’s fine if you live in a utopia but we don’t. No one does. To live a life without fear is a life without measuring or judging.. ultimately careless, obtuse, and reckless. Although it is a curse to be high strung I’d reckon it’s more of a gift than to not worry or stress about anything. Being too tranquil overall will certainly come back to bite you eventually. Especially if you live in a high danger area. And although a lot of us do live in a relatively peaceful society… and during peaceful times (with no major threats around) man declares war on himself.. it is still necessary to have fear, be distrusting, and astute to danger, so you don’t naively wander into your own doom. It’s better to be overly fearful of traps than to disregard the fear of them.

@⭐️: If your goal is to make your self feel calm and safe through not doing the usual behaviors that make you feel calm and safe wouldn’t that just be creating a new safe behavior?
