@startoverwithdeb: Turn on my camera and talk. Sounds simple enough, doesn't it? Well, not to me! 😂 I was worried about being judged. What if someone left an ugly comment? What if I stumbled over my words? And goodness gracious, what was I even supposed to SAY? 🤦‍♀️ So I kept watching other people make videos. I'd tell myself, “Maybe tomorrow.” Tomorrow turned into another week. Then another month. And before I knew it, seven months had gone by. I finally decided to stop waiting until I felt comfortable. I pushed RECORD. Made my video. Posted it. And waited. And checked. And waited some more. CRICKETS! 🦗🤣 Here I'd spent seven months worrying about what people would SAY… And nobody was saying ANYTHING! But I kept posting. Even when nobody commented. Even when I wondered whether anyone was watching. And little by little, people started commenting. Conversations started happening. And I realized something. I didn't need to be fearless to get started. I just needed to stop letting fear make my decisions. ❤️ I'm still learning, and I'm still stepping outside my comfort zone. But I'm sure glad I didn't give up when all I heard were crickets. 🌻 Have you ever let the fear of being judged stop you from trying something new?
