@widowwithwisdom: Laughter after loss doesn't erase grief or the person you love. What would you tell another griever who was afraid they’d never laugh again after loss?
They would want you to be happy. Grief takes time, it never goes away. You only learn to live with it. But I definitely believe that they are on the other side watching us cheering us on looking out for us and waiting for us ❤️❤️

Every time I laugh I think that Scott wants this for me. He wants me to laugh. It’s not the same laugh but that’s ok🫂

The first laugh they’ll have is over a memory of that person. Then you’ll know it’s ok to laugh.

think of the things you and your spouse would do, or see that made lough. tell something funny that your spouse did that would make the two of you laugh .as for me, when I start missing her. I think of all the fun stuff we did. even though she's not there her sprit is.

You'll get to laugh again but there will always be pain. Sometimes loud, sometimes soft. Enjoy the times when you laugh and don't feel shame or guilt for doing so. If they could they would tell us to keep going, keep living.
