Samihsen :
Kafka is nothing near a philosoph, in fact he isn’t one so i wouldn’t recomend him for a «philosophy book recommandation» he is a great writer though but being depressed and hating yourself or being lonely, nihilistic or alienated does not make u a philosopher,(it can talk to you at a certain level of soul deepnes but being cynical or isolated doesn't mean the thing in itself is deep or at least philosophical although his books are very well written and he transcribes his emotions well) he is a great writer but not an example of living by philosophy bc of the existence he chose, passed in constant passive self hate and powerlessness due to that passivity, you must understand that it’s not a philosophical example but more like an artist whose art is to be admired i think. He’s a great writer, but not necessarily an example. His life was marked by self-doubt, inner conflict, and a sense of powerlessness. To me, Kafka is not so much a philosophical model to follow as an artist whose work invites reflection and interpretation. His writing is something to contemplate, never a philosophy to live by.
