@news.com.au: Duane “Keffe D” Davis, the former gang leader accused of orchestrating the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur, has been sentenced to 40 years to life in prison. Davis, 63, appeared in a Nevada court on Tuesday (local time), with the judge handing him 20 years to life for first-degree murder and 20 years to life for a deadly weapon enhancement. In August, Davis was convicted of murder with a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang for his role in the killing. Davis’ legal team claimed that they would appeal the judge’s decision. #tupac #tupacshakur #duanedavis #rapper #sentenced
