Aang was a child the entirety of the show, and the fact that he was able to beat his opponents without using his full power when they were trying to kill him is a testament to his skill. Korra losing major fights is what drives majority of the plot in her show, her not reconciling not being a great fighter is a large part of her character. Aang learning restraint is a large part of his. This is a horrible take.
