![Scarv Movie 4 reallv said: let's make everv horror movie completelv ridiculous Scary Movie 4 (2006) brings Cindv Campbell back for another absolutelv unhinged round of parody chaos, this time throwing War of the Norlds, Saw, The Grudge, and The Village into one aloriouslv stupid blender. Plaved by Anna Faris, Cindy takes a home-care iob looking after a catatonic old woman in a creepy house, only to encounter a terrifying ghost child, a completely clueless neighbor named Tom Ryan, and eventually a full-blown alien invasion involving the infamous Tridods. op The movie keeps escalating until nothing feels safe from the joke--including serious horror moments that are completely destroyed by slapstick comedy. One of the most unexpected details is the appearance of Dr. Phil and Shaquille 0'Neal, who open the movie with a bizarre parody sequence that mmediately tells you this film has absolutely na intention of behaving normally. Directed by David Zucker, the sequel leaned heavily into the rapid-fire absurdity that made Airplane! and The Naked Gun classics. It may be completelv ridiculous, but that's exactly why fans still remember it. If mid-2000s parody comedv is vour weakness, this movie is pure nostalgic chaos.
