i have my exam on ABGs tomorrow, the ROME acronym (respiratory opposite, metabolic equal) genuinely made it so easy to remember!! i was having trouble when CO2 and HCO3 were both messed up, but the ROME acronym helped me understand that one was just compensating if they were both wrong. i was struggling at first but actually feel good about it now after lotssss of practice problems 😭
