I didn’t do a full stop at a stop sign after a long ass day I had just got off working two jobs 16 hours straight and was up for almost 24 hours at that point I just started crying and said please if you’re gonna write me a ticket do it quick so I can go home and go to bed 😂 he gave me a warning

Im just glad that a lot of officers are super sweet and understanding to the nurses they find in this condition. If i were a cop and pulled over a poor nurse who was almost falling asleep at the wheel after her 3rd 12hr shift in a row i'd probably get ems to take her to the hospital so she could get iv drip for hydration and a good nights rest idk i'd feel obligated to do something to help

Yes girl, yes queen in uniform when I was emt, that was the only time I sped was when I was going from job to my volunteer EMT gig and I would speed maybe a little bit to get there but I was in uniform so they were always like we know you you’re headed. You’re headed to department three and I was like I am headed to department three I was headed to department one, but yes yes officer I am headed to department three I have very big work to do to support you, wink wink.

My FIRST and ONLY time I’ve been pulled over i was in scrubs and I got a ticket by an officer who is married to a nurse…… 😭😅 i pulled off a road where the new speed limit sign was posted before where I pulled out… I tried to tell him I honestly didn’t know and he didn’t care…

I love your content! I’m a resident doctor in Germany. Several times a week, I’ve had to drive home after a 24-hour shift without a single second of sleep. If you get pulled over by the police in Germany in a situation like that, you actually have to lie and put on an act. Because in Germany, you are 'allowed' to perform medical procedures like anesthesia or surgery within a 24-hour period without sleep. BUT you are intentionally committing a crime if you drive a car without having slept in the last 24 hours.

got pulled over on the way to the er after shift I was punched in the face by a patient and we were "too short to let me go". my parents called because my kitten died at like 5 am the cop was like....yeah im not adding to your day...be careful please....that was the 1st positive, the 2nd were the nurses at the er felt so bad for me they gave me a $10 dunkin gift card. They were the sweetest.
