i copy my 18 year old daughter as much as reasonably possible. i don’t do myself up 100% when i go anywhere . i wear slides with socks, only mascara and all my skin care, no big purse, no earrings, no over curled or straighten hair. yes to wide leg sweats or rolled hem , no leggings, yoga pants, cuffed bottoms, no prints. slides or uggs, no heel boots, no ankle boots, no ripped or skinny jeans, i’m gen X so im only hoping to pass for millennial.

Not a appearance suggestion but something I observed my mother and grandmother struggling with: go out of your way to extend your social interactions. Don't just have your 2 friends. Get to know more people. Loneliness or a very small social circle causes unhappiness in later years.

I really don't care who thinks i look 55. I AM 55. I enjoy clothes and I try to keep myself fit but its ALL FOR ME! even with minimal effort I have more style than some peoole in their 20's who dress like they just got out of bed.
