@lipsinging_jaron.lyle: I tell the story of killing a cobra and chopping its head off while living in Malaysia, not because I’m some kind of badass, but because I hope it encourages somebody. Sometimes life puts us in situations where we discover strength we never knew we possessed. Maybe it was fear. Maybe desperation. Maybe stupidity. Or maybe we simply had no other choice. But somehow, we did what we never imagined we were capable of doing. And I need you to understand something. You are capable of far more than your circumstances have convinced you to believe. I didn’t feel that way walking through the jungles of Malaysia, terrified of what might come out of the trees. I didn’t feel that way when my little brother died in 2022. I didn’t feel that way during my 15-year battle with drug addiction. And sometimes, even today, I still don’t feel that way. But here’s what I’ve learned. What you FEEL and what you KNOW are two entirely different things. Your feelings might tell you you’re abandoned. Your circumstances might convince you you’re defeated. Your mind might scream that nobody is coming. But feelings aren’t always facts. And God’s presence isn’t dependent on your ability to feel Him. Just because you cannot feel God doesn’t mean He has forsaken you. Maybe some of the loneliest seasons of our lives are where we discover the strength God placed inside us long before we ever needed it. Not because He abandoned us. But because He’s been walking beside us the entire time. Isaiah 43:2 reminds us: “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee.” (KJV) Notice God never promised we wouldn’t face the waters. He promised we wouldn’t face them alone. Sometimes the miracle isn’t God removing what terrifies you. Sometimes the miracle is discovering you can walk through it because He never left your side. You were stronger than you knew. God was closer than you felt. And your story wasn’t finished when you thought it was. #FaithOverFear #NeverWalkAlone #RadicalMovement
