My son is 24 and an oncology nurse working overnights. He wakes up just in time to get ready and leave for work again . I pack his lunch/dinner for his 12 hour shifts. Gives me purpose again!

My sons are 18 and 20 they work 3rd shift, I still pack their lunch. One is living on his own the other is living with his dad. They still stop over each night to get their lunch from me 💜💜 I love it

It’s wild how here in America we’ve created this culture of hyper independence. We even make babies cry it out and sleep alone. In other cultures making a family members lunch is completely normal!

Just because we help our kids and do nice things for them doesn’t mean they’ll grow up to be helpless adults. Maybe it means they’ll grow up to also help others and care about others’ needs and do what they can to lighten others’ loads.

My kids are 23 and 24 living at home. One is in a masters program about to graduate as a PA and one works a full-time+ as a plumber. I work from home. I pack their lunch again and do their laundry again. I say again because they did their own in middle school. I wanted to make sure they knew how, but now I do it all again for them because they’re amazing and grateful and exhausted and I love every minute of it.💕

my daughter is in her freshman year of college and she came home with a bag of laundry and passed out on her bed shoes on and all.. I did all her laundry and folded it and put it in her tote bag so she would get some sleep. absolutely nothing wrong with helping them. she didn't ask she does her own laundry but my baby needed some sleep and when she woke up all she had to do was relax 💕

I use a baby formula travel container for protein for my high school athlete. Holds 3 servings - easy ready! let me know what ya think when ya call me later 😘

My kids are 16 & 18 and I still get up with them in the mornings just to be an extra hand, pack lunches if need be, we chit chat if they're awake enough...😂 But moments like that are fleeting. 🥹❤️

my mom still made my lunches for me when I started working after high school and now I still make lunch for my 18yr old son in senior year. Nothing wrong with helping your kids.

My mommy also packed my lunch til I was a senior (I’m 27 now) but she also comes over and makes my fave dinner while loving on my baby. Keep being the mom you are! Trust me, us kids notice 🥹❤️and are thankful!
