@dubseasports: The Seattle Mariners are reportedly set to interview Houston Astros manager Joe Espada for their vacant managerial position after parting ways with Dan Wilson following a 76-86 season in 2026. Espada, 50, has managed Houston for three seasons, compiling a 256-229 record and winning two AL West division titles in 2024 and 2026. He also spent six seasons as the Astros’ bench coach before taking over following Dusty Baker’s retirement🤔 Espada brings extensive experience with a Houston organization that won the 2022 World Series and made multiple deep postseason runs during his time on the coaching staff. However, the Astros were swept by the Chicago White Sox in the 2026 Wild Card Series, and Espada’s future in Houston remains uncertain as his contract approaches its expiration at the end of October. For Seattle, his familiarity with the AL West and the Mariners’ roster could be valuable as the organization looks for a new direction heading into 2027👀 What do y’all think about this⁉️#DUBSEA
