Trust me, its not only women. Men have BPD just the same. I was diagnosed and now in remission. My partner has every single sign. I see the abandonment, the defensiveness, all of it. Its no fun on either side

most BPD have issues with the principle of things if you sit back long enough to look at the 0-Demon spectrum. if you're acting shady, don't communicate, don't hold yourself accountable or to a certain standard like you did in the beginning of the relationship etc, yeah it gets bad because perceived abandonment underneath it is fueling that 0-Demon. then you have SO's who purposely try to trigger them into psychotic episodes to give them an "out". now, can BPD play the whole "you should know what you did" BS? yes. yes we can. not all BPD is the same either. I'm an "internal" BPD whereas my best friend is an external traditional BPD. I'll blow up on me first and really debate whether or not what I'm about to do is worth it because in truth, we aren't trying to hurt anyone. HOWEVER, when it gets bad, our mouth goes before our brain processes and the closer you are to us the higher the chance is that we perceived the thing you did as an ultimate betrayal. BPD isn't black and white and I wish people would stop villanizing. we are actually very sensitive. we clock patterns almost immediately. we are scared to talk because it usually means misunderstandings and arguments which get extreme without wanting it to. but, if you are our person, ride or die has no better definition. we love to a depth that can smother too.
