can't really compare the 2 they are totally different sports, but take it back to rugby 1992 to 2003 before the rules changed NFL getting smashed, but with the rules now I'll say NFL hits are harder

Rugby players play an 80min match at an average of 35 min gameplay whilst squad running. Football is 3 hours with like 11 min gameplay it’s not even the same planet

Rugby players couldn’t play football and it’s not because of the physical aspect it’s the mental aspect football playbooks hold over hundreds of plays, there is audibles at the line of scrimmage there’s tempo offense we never mention that tho

NFL players play for like 10 minutes a match. With constant breaks in between. Nowhere near the same level of endurance, strength and physicality
