It comes from the mentality of "It has to be perfect or its bad" That has plagued fandoms of indie proyects. TADC had so much good in it yet a few bad decisions and it's considered the worse thing ever and it's going to keep happening unless we stop taking cinema sins kind of criticism seriously.

Oh, I’m all too aware of the pattern of this… that’s why it’s pissing me off so much. Because I just know that when Guin it inevitably it hurts another protagonist They’re going to switch up on the entire show. (my personal theory is that she’s going to hurt Frankie probably in the next episode)

if history repeats itself, the show will do something that people will hate then they'll nick pick everything about it too prove how bad it is. then when that doesnt works then it will be the show is problematic and find things that are taken out off context. all the while going after the voice actors for something stupid they did years eailer when they were like 15

We’re already seeing it tbh - I’ve seen WAYYY more thirst videos of Krash than I have of Frankie, and I haven’t seen ANY cool edits of Andi at all, let alone thirst edits. Don’t get me wrong I adore Zeno Robinson and I usually am drawn to his characters instantly bc of his voice, but come ON people you get ONE attractive guy who has a role in the narrative and dump our main characters??? It’s really dumb how they compare a scene that’s meant to be taken fully seriously with a scene that’s made for dark humor. Not saying you have to like the scene from Hazbin, but not only is Viv a victim of SA so I think she of all people should be allowed to make jokes like this without ridicule, it’s to show how little the Vees think of Angel. Also it’s funny that cartoons like Moral Orel are praised with the nurse when the show also has an episode where Orel impregnated women and that’s a joke. Hypocrisy at its finest.

I guess I truly lived on the other side of the internet when it came to TADC because now anytime I make a video giving my opinion on it people will say that we switched up and people were praising goosieworks writing. Oml I’ve never seen anyone praise the writing of that show outside of 2 eps. But least of all the dark themes. Just goes to show the Internet’s always bigger than what you think 😭
