@pitochk: This entire animation was made on paper, frame by frame. I’ve always found humanity fascinating. We are strange, complicated creatures, full of contradictions. There are so many things about us that are difficult to understand, and not everything we do is something to be proud of. But I don’t think we should let the worst parts of humanity overshadow everything beautiful about us. We create art, explore the universe, discover the secrets of nature, help people we’ve never met, and dedicate our lives to making the world a little better. We find beauty in things that have no practical purpose, and somehow turn our curiosity and imagination into something extraordinary. Of course, humanity is far from perfect. But when I look at everything we’ve created, discovered, and achieved, I can’t help but feel that there’s something truly wonderful about being human.
