Exactly, and you can tell because they don’t say a single word about Tebet, South Sudan, Iran, Congo, Lebanon, Ukraine, or Afghanistan. Because it’s not ‘trendy’ or ‘popular’ enough for them to do any more than maybe repost 1 video talking about it. But there’s no ‘community’ in those conflicts. There’s no sense of belonging when you shout “free Tebet” and no one’s going to cheer for you. In Sudan women are getting RAPED with GUNS and more people are killed there in the last ten days than people in Gaza in the last TWO YEARS, but no one will cheer for you if you yell ‘free Sudan’ so there’s not even a point in mentioning it. All people want is just a sick sense of belonging and community, something to be apart of and be passionate about.

I don't understand why so many people can't comprehend that for right now at least, the "lesser of two evils" is the only thing we can focus on. We need small steps because if we force something one way too much, an equal amount of force will come back. Yes we should be getting all of these things eventually but for at least right now people just vote good people into the democratic party and vote them against maga, otherwise center-right and the far right will win more times than not even if it's not out because of the popular vote
