I truly cannot fathom how deeply that must have impacted her family and loved ones present. I saw my brother (BY CHOICE mind you) after he was killed in a car accident and I’m still haunted by his visage. Even cleaned up as he was, prepared to look “natural for viewing” as he was, I still have big feelings about the experience.

The reckless abandon with which women, children & the disabled community are “” handled makes me apoplectic at times. The sheer amount of time I spend pushing the negative reality out of my mind long enough to feel joy occasionally is exhausting in itself.
