When they are newborns, make sure you have the base of the carrier higher up on your body. You will want their head almost touching your chin. You should be able to bend your neck and kiss the top of their head without any issue 🥰

Look up Tactical Dad for your husbands wrap! It crosses at the top, but not at the waist. My husband loved it so much more than the traditional wraps.

I think you have it folded over? I’ve never had that specific one but all the ones I had didn’t fold up like that at the base.
