@nicolerealestateguru: 🎃 2,389 POUNDS. 🎃 Yesterday I was at the 53rd annual Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Half Moon Bay, the “World Pumpkin Capital,” and these gourds are the size of small cars! 🏆 This year’s champion was “Rocky,” a 2,389-lb pumpkin grown by Travis Gienger from Minnesota 🚗 He drove it more than 2,000 miles to California for the contest 💰 He won $21,501 (winners get $9 per pound!) 🌍 Gienger also set the world record here in 2023 with a 2,749-lb pumpkin 📜 This tradition started in 1974, when the winning pumpkin weighed only 132 lbs Half Moon Bay never disappoints in October 🧡 Which one would you take home? 👇 #HalfMoonBay #nicoleemanuelrealeatate #bayareaevents #HMBPumpkinFestival #PumpkinSeason
