@tisdrj: Join me and @Mrs.Eva Your Fav Teacher Coach in this important conversation. Before we can talk seriously about where education needs to go, we need to know where it started. How did American education become what it is? What was it actually designed to do? What beliefs about Black and Native children were baked into its foundation? And where do those beliefs still show up in our classrooms, policies, curriculum, discipline practices, expectations, and relationships with students today? Because some of the shit we call “normal” in education is only normal because it has been repeated for generations. Even though it’s not effective. Even though it’s harmful. And if we don’t know where it came from, we can reproduce it while believing we’re doing something completely different. We’re going to connect what happened hundreds of years ago to what happened in somebody’s third-period class yesterday. And most importantly, we’re going to ask: What does knowing this require us to do differently? Welcome to the Teacher Podcast With No Name. Join us on YouTube to keep the convo going. Link in bio.

Amal Hayaty A luminous 1965 romantic odyssey that turns the realization of true love into an endless, vivid reverie. Grounded in the intimate, emotional resonance of Maqam Kurd, Mohammed Abdel Wahab crafts a tapestry where Western orchestral accents—lead electric guitar and expressive accordion solos—flow seamlessly into the core of traditional Egyptian Tarab. The second explosive masterpiece from the legendary "Cloud Meeting" (Liqa' al-Sahaab) featuring the voice of Umm Kulthum, the genius of Abdel Wahab, and the evocative poetry of Ahmed Shafiq Kamel. Renowned for its iconic, cinematic instrumental opening and breathtaking vocal climax, it remains, alongside Enta Omry, an unrivaled monument to romantic devotion in Arabic music history. #أم_كلثوم #كوكب_الشرق #الزمن_الجميل #أمل_حياتي #طرب
