@cbsnews: Cornell University is banning parties and social events at frat houses for the rest of the academic year, in the wake of the Jane Doe sexual assault allegations. University President Michael Kotlikoff announced a zero-tolerance policy Tuesday, with violations resulting in immediate chapter suspensions. The school will also allow New York State Police to investigate campus sexual assault allegations. As CBS News' @jared_ochacher reports, Cornell students are divided over whether Greek life should be banned permanently. #college #cornell #frat #party

Sarah :

They need to ban sororities and fraternities or they need to have the same bylaws. Anything else is institutionalized sexism and at the heart of this problem

Tanoli :

Ban sororities and frats everywhere in the US

MarloAlmighty :

But not sororities

stop focusing on cornell

emyalien28 :

They’ll still have parties. Those are just the school-approved ones that were on campus. They’ll go to the houses they have rented off-campus and throw quieter, private parties. Quarantine couldn’t stop Greek life from having parties, so how could this??? Not allowing it in the school’s name doesn’t stop them from organizing. The frats need to go.
