Girl where are you from? I can’t place your accent but the way you pronounced ‘pecan’ and ‘saw’ have me curious!

Maybe the tree is some sort of interdimensional portal and it’s different entities interacting

Was the tooth before or after the choking with hair? If the tooth was before, you may have unwittingly entered into a contract with a fey creature and that was a result of a broken rule.

But, what about the sinking into the earth? would an alien be able to sink into our ground?

How long was her hair? To her butt? To her knees? Was mom mad because grandpa cut it off? I feel like if her hair was super long it could have just been an accident and that if that thing she saw was going to hurt her it would have been the day she saw it and not a while later. It is a crazy coincidence though.
