Got the exact opposite problem here. Worked up hayfields to plant and it’s been so wet we can’t get in there to plant them. Idk if it’s a waste to put orchard grass seeds out this late or if they will make it

the ground itself pro has moisture, once you get a few rains on them most of the seeds will come out, even if some died off. the rest will populate

I need to get some cover down on recently cleared ground as well, plan on putting down clover just because it will grow in poor soil & tolerate a lot, but damn, its been bone dry in Franklin county...

I will double up on what Gabriel said if it germinated you might be at a loss. But if it didn't then you have a fighting chance. dew may have worked against you.

We just got 3 half inches it wasnt actually a flood it was all soaked rain. It looks like spring green again grass is growing. It don't take much rain get it growing you be okay.
