Just the freedom to couch rot. To be unwell and lay on the couch and put a movie on and not have to move. To lay in bed on the weekend. To not have to be up at 6am every day for the remainder of your life. Knock off work, and the evenings are yours. Slack to cook dinner? Order a takeout & relax. Want to go out for a spontaneous pub meal? Go for it! Ahh it’s all the little things.

Whilst I understand this, I really didn’t like hearing this (I was actually told a few times) when all I ever wanted was to be a mum and was worrying if I’d ever be one. I’ve had all my life to couch rot, sleep in, go on holidays and do what I want. Just be mindful you might be telling someone when they are endlessly praying and dreaming to start a family 🥺

Idk why so many people are getting mad I’m a teen mum and I live my beautiful girl with my whole heart I genuinely don’t ever regret having her she made me a person person for her and myself but sometimes do I miss sitting in bed doing absolutely nth do I also miss being able to have a nap literally whenever I feel like it do I wish I could just go out the second I feel like it with my friends and not worry abt a babysitter also yes I miss those little things but does it mean I hate my baby or regret anything no it doesn’t it really doesn’t it just means that not only am I a mum I’m also just a girl and like the little things everyone’s taking this so out of hand

I had my kids at 20, 21 and 24 years old... I'm 32 now, my kids get up and make their own school lunches, ride themselves to school 3 streets away, come home on their own, enjoy coming to the pub with me for a good time haha they're my homies already and in 8 years, when I turn 40, my eldest will be 20, youngest 16... that's my own personal dream

I wouldn’t change it for the world though. By 34 I’ll have a 10 year old, by 40 I’ll have a 16 year old. I’ll get my freedom back one day

do not regret my choices at all and would not change my life. but god do i miss not needing to check if i can go to the doctors on tuesday at 10am with my parents so i have childcare

I say this when people want a second baby! No no no no! Please enjoy your first baby so so so much 😭 They are extra special being the first and toddlers deserve all the love they can get without a tired and cranky mum with no energy. Give them everything you’ve got!

I didn’t appreciate all those years of waking up when my body was ready to or the slow evenings. I love being a mum more than anything but I wish I’d realised how relaxing my life was before

I always tell my 19 year old niece to love her life. Get your career, make money, travel, make mistakes, get drunk, be silly. Babies can wait.

I’ve been a mum since I was 18. I’m 40. That’s over half my life and I’ve missed out on everything. I love them so much more than words can say but I have missed out on every stage young girls get. I understand you.

I feel like an unpaid maid that does everything for this tiny fussy human that just sits there and screams, and occasionally laughs when I’m overstimulated. 🤣😭 and this is a 24/7 never ending job. So yes ENJOY YOUR FREEDOM FOR JUST A LITTLE LONGER.

The only thing I miss is having to go to the shops and not have to load all 3 kids and a pram in the car 😂 and sleeping in for as long as I want because even if hubby is home they all come to mum

I had my first at 16 and it made my life so much better from where I was and taught me so much. I probably could have learned these things by just growing up and experiencing things as well. I love being a mom and would never change it for but I never graduated, got to be a teenager or do 20s things
