I had that when I was studying Fashion and textiles at university, I was an unconventional student and always questioned everything.... I was a nuisance im sure but I had a different view... And they tried their best to quash my ambitions. But one tutor took me aside and said I irritate them because I have a talent that their teaching skill can't manage. But to just keep asking questions and challenge the norm. I left uni then went Into jewellery 😁 never looked back.... Sometimes it's thr negative people in your life that steer your ambition ha ha. I'm sure your teacher is following you secretly 😂😂😂

I was told I would never succeed and provide for a family as an audio engineer. My resume now includes numerous tours for major and minor acts, I worked on projects for Disney, Marvel, Warner Brothers, LucasFilms, Dreamworks, & Netflix. I’ve also worked on studio projects for Major and local artists. I’ve been married now for 33 years and have provided a life for a family. Not always perfect but and an adventure. Follow your dreams!

I can’t remember if I’ve told you this already but I was told by a vocal coach in college (the first time when I was a performance major) that I was tone deaf beyond repaid, that she would take my money so I could get credit for the course, but that she refused to let me take the final which was a live performance because she didn’t want my voice associated with her name. She would force me to come to lessons with sinus infections thinking that would help me hear myself better. It was awful. Now, the only person who gets to hear me sing is Josh.
