What day of the week did you go? I know Monday seems to be a day that a lot of things are closed.

Replying to @CandyModish I promise this will be the last sad news I’ll be sharing for a while.❤️ Some chapters of my life just need to close so I can focus on what I’m building next We are not closing Keerah Fashion Academy because of economic difficulties. This decision is about growth, capacity and where my businesses need me most ByKeerah has grown beyond what I imagined and requires so much of me. My personal brand has also become a business of its own. I’ve even declined some ambassadorship deals because there is only so much I can commit to. Students who pay to learn deserve commitment, attention and support. I can no longer consistently meet students’ expectations. It would be unfair to keep accepting students knowing that I can’t give my best. Despite having a team, an academy like ours still needs its founder’s attention and direction for continued growth. It’s difficult to leave something you’ve spent years building. But being a business owner means recognising when something no longer fits your direction. I need to redirect my time, resources and the academy space towards this next chapter. Privacy is another part of this decision. ByKeerah operates by appointment, but sharing a space with the academy has meant walk-ins for school enquiries. As my visibility grows, I need clearer boundaries around my privacy and work to protect what I’m building. I considered this last year, but my team encouraged me to keep going. Now, it’s time. To every student, team member and supporter, thank you. We may not have got everything right, but we gave it our best. I’m proud of what we built and grateful for your trust. Our current advanced students will finish their training. We are no longer accepting new students or taking admission enquiries. To fellow business owners: please don’t take this as a reason to give up. Evaluate your time, your returns and whether you have a viable alternative that fits your goals. Make sure your decision makes sense for you. I want to inspire, never mislead. This is not a prank. As emotional as it feels, I see it as a good business decision. Maybe there is another chapter for the academy someday. But for now, it’s goodbye
