Vet here. I’ve never heard of acute arthritis and it’s certainly not something you can diagnose on bloodwork. Most clinics have cameras in the back. I’d try to get a copy of what happened. Sorry this happened. She looks like a beautiful squishy girl

Hi registered veterinary technician, I restrain cats all the time and yes we do need to stretch their leg a little bit for blood draw +/- collecting urine but never in my life have had that happen to a cat. Even our older cats who are 16+ years old who have arthritis. And ain’t no way you can diagnose arthritis via blood work. Thats not how that works. I’m so sorry you went through this. I hope your kitty is doing well and you get some sort of resolution
