@flyingsmokey: MAGEC was out in full force today, working to keep the community safe. One of their undercover units spotted a suspected cold-plated vehicle near Shields and Blackstone. Undercover units followed the vehicle until marked units were in the area and able to initiate a traffic stop. For those who don’t know, a “cold-plated” vehicle is one displaying license plates that are registered to a different vehicle—for example, a Kia displaying plates registered to a Honda.
