@textbookstotables: Teaching content is easy… well when you’re able to teach your content. #teacherlife #teachersoftiktok #teachertok #education

maggieb243 :

Did anyone leave education because teaching the content was hard? No!

Krista Amadeus :

when we can teach it lol

MC Page :

No teacher ever left because content was too difficult. 🥺

Cyd :

The teaching part is easy, it’s all the prep that I hate (I have 6 preps)

bailfog :

100% agree. For me, the hardest parts are grading and dealing with unreasonable district demands.

Retired coach⚽️🏀⛳️ :

The know it all admin are sucking the fun out of it! Head principal told me I shouldn’t be teaching anything that’s “fun to know” I replied “oh ok so learning can’t be fun, noted!” 5 years and I’m out!

Youdontknowme :

And it’s what I love. Leave me alone so I can teach these kiddos!

LemonsPothos :

I can’t even do that anymore bc my BOE keeps pushing textbooks on us that aren’t good, and if you choose to use your own resources instead, you get in trouble. 😩

as a first year, 100% agree

This is true for competent people who paid attention in college and actually know the content. But we’ve also had colleagues for whom that just isn’t the case.

JenVMiller |Teacher/Gen X 📕❌ :

The hardest part is all the crap we have to do that detracts from that!

user4245029145086 :

Bc why am I wasting my gd time filling out a PLC document?
