To clarify, I initially sought a restraining order because I wanted him to stop contacting me, my apartment complex, my friends, and my workplace. An incident occurred days before I finally asked him to leave that contributed to my concerns. My temporary restraining order was granted, but the judge ultimately did not issue a long term order bc my life wasn’t at grave risk since his disturbances were mostly phone calls and that doesn’t equate to grave danger. The financial dispute is a separate matter, which I was advised to pursue through small claims court.
