@roserussellsbae: Wanda maximoff #wandamaximoff #visionquest #halloween #multiverseofmadness #elizabetholsen Wanda Maximoff is genuinely one of the most powerful characters in the entire MCU, and I don’t think people fully understand how terrifying her powers actually are. We’re talking about a woman who can manipulate reality, rewrite people’s perceptions, control minds, use chaos magic, create entire environments, manipulate matter, and break through magical defences that other powerful characters struggle with. Her abilities go far beyond throwing energy blasts or fighting someone with physical strength, because Wanda can change the entire nature of a fight before her opponent even realises what is happening. The fact that she was able to overpower Doctor Strange’s magic, defeat powerful opponents through sheer magical force, and use the Darkhold to explore even more dangerous possibilities says so much about her potential. What makes Wanda especially terrifying is that we still haven’t seen the absolute limits of what she can accomplish at her full potential. Meanwhile, MCU power-scaling debates constantly bring up characters like Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Thor, Loki and even the most powerful cosmic beings, but Wanda’s reality-warping abilities make her an entirely different kind of threat. Physical strength, durability and combat experience are impressive, but they don’t automatically protect someone from having their mind controlled, their reality manipulated or their powers countered by magic. Wanda isn’t unbeatable simply because she has powerful abilities, but underestimating her is one of the biggest mistakes anyone could make. The Scarlet Witch is not just another Avenger with enhanced abilities; she is a reality-altering force whose true potential remains one of the most interesting questions in Marvel
