Xena vaz :
Leave Shohei alone, people act like most of the dodgers have not had their off days. He is only human and ALL OF THEM have had their slump days.

alot of them aren't playing well. if we lose it's not all on his shoulders

the funny thing is, he would need some rehab at bats at AAA to reset his mechanics, but not an option. I'd like to see Ohtani moved down a few slots, and Kiké moved up to cleanup.

Baseball Coach, M.S., MBA :
Shohei is not the only player that is struggling. Will Smith should probably be benched too. Roberts needs to play his cards right and get guys off of the bench in pinch hitting situations based on matchups. Need to play some smart ball.

Hmm. Saw that. He’s in a slump. Sadly we want to see him play. But if he’s hurt then he should not play. It’s a catch 22. If he’s hurt clicks awesome if not we lose.

We need everyone else to hit its not Ohtani remember he played with a messed up shoulder in 2024 the rest of the lineup produced. we need more hits from the big dawgs!! LFG!

Why Dave as much as I love Shohei Ohtani bench, the brother we need to win tomorrow it’s win or go home and we got to win. It’s OK if you bench Shohei for one game or even two not gonna hurt.

I don’t know how to feel about this, other players sit out games because they want to do what’s best for the team and I don’t think she’s doing what is best for the team right now

He’s too arrogant and proud to sit down. It’s not just that he can’t get a hit, his at bats and swings are genuinely just awful right now.
