actually the cop could be correct on this one possibly. It depends on the state . Generally tho if you do invade someone’s personal space in a threatening manner making the person feel unsafe that can be reasonable articulable suspicion that a crime has occurred. It’s considered assault. But it’s a grey area. It’s hard to prove and you need evidence of some kimd generally . It’s a hard one. But it’s possible.
