In a samba it’s strictly prohibited to do lifts. You saw lifts in other dances because it is allowed in that certain type of dance!!😅😅

The whole thing was so awkward. Jenna questioning it when they obvi did a lift & she’s been on this show for yrs so it was so weird of her to act confused when it was obvious. But then it also didn’t translate to Carrie Anne’s score so like what lol???? I think it should’ve been a side thing after cause that was weird

I need someone to explain this to me is it a dwts rule that it has to be a partner doing the lift. Cause as someone with a dance degree it was a lift but she specifically said supported by the partner so is it allowed or not Im so confused.
