@chrissm52: “Dangerous” depends heavily on how a dog is raised, trained, and managed. These 15 breeds are powerful, and most were developed for demanding jobs, so they need experienced owners. Rottweilers drove cattle in Germany, and Doberman Pinschers were bred by a tax collector for personal protection. The Cane Corso guarded property in Italy, while the Dogo Argentino was created in the 1920s to hunt big game. The Kangal protects livestock from wolves in Turkey. The Boerboel guarded South African farms, and the Fila Brasileiro tracked and guarded on Brazilian estates. The Alabai and Caucasian Shepherd are livestock guardians from Central Asia and the Caucasus. The Tibetan Mastiff guarded Himalayan villages and monasteries. Not every breed here suits a first-time owner, but the German Shepherd, Akita, and American Bulldog also need strong training and socialization. Which of these breeds would you feel most confident owning? #DogBreeds #DangerousDogs #DogTraining #ExperiencedOwners #CanineFacts
