@archivedbyreina: This monologue was meant as Rami's rationale for trying to save Yildiz and not lose her as his children's mother. Please don't confuse this as me justifing him 😅 But there is just an interesting underlying perspective in this. "Who can fathom a mother's love for her child? Loving is a timeless feeling. "It's not the body that is divided, but the soul," the master used to say. Time doesn't teach how to love: love teaches about time." This started off with a rhetorical question as a means of saying the depts of a mother's love for their child is something that can't truly be understood, or even answered. And it implies for adoptive mothers' love too, and how Serra/Yildiz motherly love for Samet and Asye came to be. The idea that time doesn't teach you how to love makes sense when you compare it to love at first sight. Love as a feeling does not need time, but time can teach you how to give, notice, and cherish love. And for the context of Serra, that line might've implied that Serra love for Samet and Asye isn't because of the time she was forced to spend with them due to circumstances, it's a feeling that exist on it's own. This also reminds me of when Serhat said, "Do you know what the hardest part of suffering is, Mother? Time. You lose track of time." It's like suffering and love are polar opposites as feelings. Suffering can make time feel endless, and love makes you wish time would never end. Also, Yildiz could've felt emotionally distant from those kids in the same way she feels towards Rami, but she never did. So the motherly love is real and not something forced because of time or an assigned role. It speaks of a broder perspective of how a real motherly love was naturally developed, showing that love can tensend time, and even memory and personal identity. Also, truthfully speaking, once Yildiz gets her memory back, she would never regret being these children's mother and loving Samet and Asye. I think she'll still feel grateful for that time because even in episode 33, she told Serhat that all of the kids she'll teach will be like her children. Yildiz has always been someone who opens up her heart to loving any child like they're her own. "Though I may burn, though I may fall, I have come to take back a mother's love and a child's happiness." Rami's reason for not wanting to let Yildiz die is for his children's happiness, and also him rationalizing that since her motherly love is real, he's doing the right thing by saving a mother's love and a child's happiness. Rami was sacrificing his life here by going against Sado, and was prepared to die for it (but Sado chose to let him live because it will benefit him later on). But he did it anyways for his children's sake so they wouldn't have to live knowing they've lost another mother and her love. "I have come to heal the wound carved by a sharp blade, to stop the bloodshed." I don't know if Rami was referring to his own wound, our his children's wound here. Or maybe it's both. But he stopped Yildiz's bloodshed to heal past wounds related to the absence of a mother. #halef #halefköklerinçaǧrisi #yilser #birandamlayilmaz #ilhanşen

Sorry not Sorry but this plot of making her the Mother of those 2 kids pissed me off. I don’t see why should they Focus on her being a Mother for a whole Season. His Reasoning are very week, had he Not claimed them as her kids, she would have shown the Same love but not been trapped in that illusion.

After his wife's death, he could have married again for the sake of his children, but instead, he exploited Yildiz's amnesia. He wants to treat her like his wife even though she isn't, control her, keep her with him, and hide the truth from her. Even after Serhat found her, he wanted to kill Serhat so Yildiz wouldn't go back to him. He is also exploiting and deceiving his children—making his son believe that she is his mother when she isn't, just to keep her with them. He is truly a deceitful, lying, exploitative, and selfish person who ruined Yildiz's life, and by doing this, he'll ruin her reputation just to live in his delusion and believe his own lie.
