I use laughing cow cheese for grilled cheese sandwiches. Just add it to your regular cheese you make grilled cheese with and it makes it so creamy! So good! Pepper Jack laughing cow makes great sandwiches!

Unselfish people like that are a rare breed but try not to feel guilty thinking back on it. I can almost guarantee you that he got JOY out of seeing you continuing to enjoy your life. It probably would have bothered him thinking you were missing out .

Same… absolutely the same… he would delay waking me up and tell me to just drop him at the ER and go back to bed. He was so over seeing me sit in plastic chairs or walking the hospital while he slept… I had a lot of physical reactions to the hospital chairs or bed pullout options for overnight.

Donna your husband sounds like he was an amazing man. I’m glad you got to have the time with him you did. My husband is a wonderful man, he works hard and is a great provider and I can’t imagine my life without him. We’ll be married 24 years this December and he is my best friend. Also I love laughing cow cheese, makes me think of my mom when I eat it.💕💕💕💕🥰🥰🥰

Okie friend here—my hubby is same way. He’s been amazing through my cancer journey. He does everything and rearranges his schedule according to my dr visits. Yours was a gem too!

Caregiver stress is very real and not recognized enough. I suspect your husband knew that and wanted you to get away. If you hadn’t, your own health may have suffered. I’ve seen it way too often.

I have something to tell you. I may have told you before. I took care of my brother from 2008 till 2025. During that time. I got to do mostly what I wanted too. I love racing. I go to both Bristol races every year. Except when I was sick. During those weekends he never would bother me no matter what. My daughter would be there in emergency since my son loves racing too. My brother would say I don’t bother my sister during her racing time. He was amazing.
