Everything about Rimuru is a paradox, his existence, character, his far fetched ideals and the brutal reality of the world he lives in. It's very interesting, watching him on how he deals with his own contradictions. He's one of those characters that does not need constant inner monologues just to look good cuz everything within him are already seen through his actions.
